Files In Progress
QCDocs includes a distributed filing system for filing and storing other documents.
The Files in Progress System offers companies a secure, online method of storing and accessing important files. A portal version is
also available for use.

Folders List
- Selecting a folder will display the content of the folder in the right window pane.
- Right click on the folder list to open the action menu.
- You can add, delete, rename, move up, move down a folder through this list.
- You can also move folders by dragging them with your mouse.
- You can deny access to a user from the Security interface. Right click a folder and select Security.
Files
- To upload a file. Simply drag and drop the file into the folder.
- You can also cut and paste a document. Copy a document, right click on the right pane and select Paste.
- To download a document, right click on the file and select Save As to download the file.
- The file information will be displayed: Name, size, modified by, status, and comments.
- The status displays who was the last person to download a file. If you are the person who downloaded the file, you can clear the status by selecting Clear Status
in the right click action menu.
- You can also view the file's history, rename, delete, send the document link through messaging through the right click action menu.

To add a comment. Select the document and enter the comment in the text box. Press the comment
button to update.

Press the settings
button to access the Files in Progress settings.
- Default save to folder - You can change the default download location.
- Expand all tree nodes on startup - All folders will be expanded upon opening the interface.
- Memorize last opened folder - Will default to this folder next time the interace is opened.
- Auto refresh changes - The interface will periodically refresh to update any changes made by other users.

Press the search
button to search for files in Files in Progress.
- Enter a keyword and press Search.
- Double click on a file to automatically jump to the location.
