Tag Management

Tags Management allows managers to manually add Tags into QCDocs. Tags added here can be used to code Time, Expenses, POs and other entries for tracking and reporting.

Tag Permissions

Access to Tag Management is restricted to users with Tag Management rights, determined by a QCDocs Administrator in QCDocs Desktop. Access to Tags Management should be limited to a small subset of your team, focused on those who are involved in the budgeting, project management, or accounting processes within the company.

The Portal interface can only be used to add and edit Tags. To remove a tag from the system, please use Tag Management in QCDocs Desktop.

  1. Select the type of Tag from the Type pulldown.
  2. Enter a name for the Tag in the Name field.
  3. Click the Add button to add the Tag.

  1. Select the Tag to edit from the tree on the left.
  2. Click Edit Selected Tree Item.
  3. Edit the Name as desired then press Update.
